Just started reading it this past week. Dude. Dude. I haven't read a young adult series this good since HP. And believe me, I looooooove Harry Potter. Percy Jackson is just so well written! First person perspective books can be really terrible or really fantastic. This series is the latter. The characters are just glorious. They're all around 14-16 and the author doesn't forget this despite all of the crazy-ass Greek monster shit that happens. There's enough love angst to add that level of romance, but it's not so overwhelming that you're just like "...this is stupid". It's the right amount for characters in their early teens.
